The school day begins at 8.25am. Students are required to be in the building by 8.20 in order to be in their P1 classrooms on time. Students who arrive to the academy after 8.25am will receive a sanction.

Persistent latecomers can also be referred to the Local Authority for fixed penalty notices or to be referred to the Family or Magistrates court.

We do realise that, very occasionally, unavoidable circumstances may occur which would make a student late to school. When this happens please contact the school attendance line on (0113 2739120) immediately so that we are aware.

If there are issues that will impact on your child’s punctuality in the long term, please make an appointment to speak with your child’s Cathedral Leader in the academy.
