Approaching a secondary school can be very exciting, but also daunting, because they are generally much bigger than most primary schools. One of the first concerns for all new staff and students is getting lost. It is very easy to move around Bishop Young Academy because it is like a large circle on both floors. If you keep walking you will always return to the place that you started at.

This is what you will see when you arrive at the main entrance. As you go through the gates you will see the ‘Student entrance’ to the right. You will always enter the building here, and leave at the end of the school day (see below)
