Hello, my name is Miss Baker and I have worked with children and young people for over 18 years.  Before I started working in education I was a youth and community worker for 13 years.  I studied youth and community work BA (hons) at Huddersfield University and have worked for housing associations, youth charities and local authorities across the North of England.  I worked with the United Kingdom Youth Parliament (UKYP) for 3 years and have had the honour of taking 3 groups of young MYPs (Members of Youth Parliament) to the House of Commons to debate on the infamous green seats (the only other group ever permitted to do so in history).  I have a passion for voice and influence and supporting young people to realise their full potential.  I use this passion to drive my year forward to success and I am incredibly proud to be a groupleader for such a fantastic and compassionate group of young people.
