Hello, my name is Miss Kirk. My responsibilities are as follows:

Parents - I am your direct link to school. I will liaise with you about all aspects of your child’s schooling. I will be your link to teaching staff and I will aim to be as helpful as I can with any enquiry. I will look after your child with care, diligence, fairness and concern and will do my best for them at all times.

Student - I am your first port of call for any issues you have at school. I will listen to you and help you in any way that I can. My job is to help you settle in and feel safe and secure in your new environment, and make excellent progress. If something is bothering you, come and see me and I will do my best to help you find a solution.

I have worked in schools for over 16 years. Bishop Young Academy is like a family and we like our new additions to feel welcome and at ease.
